OeGOR Summer School 2024
The Austrian OR society's summer school in Krems, on column generation and optimization-augmented machine learning.
The OeGOR Summer School 2024 for PhD candidates and post-docs took place from July 22 to 26, 2024 at the University for Continuing Education in Krems an der Donau, Austria.
The week was split into two courses: an introduction to column-generation theory and applications by Timo Gschwind, and combinatorial optimization augmented machine learning for contextual multi-stage problems by Maximilian Schiffer. My code from the Julia reinforcement-learning as well as the column-generation lab sessions are on GitHub.
I travelled back to Lyon by train, by choice, using an Interrail ticket.
