ROADEF 2026
The 27th annual congress of the French OR society, in Tours, where I presented randomized constructive heuristics for the VRPTW.
ROADEF 2026, the 27th annual congress of the Société Française de Recherche Opérationnelle et d’Aide à la Décision, took place from February 23 to 26, 2026 at the Université de Tours.
I presented Randomized Constructive Heuristics for the VRPTW: a study of the Nearest Neighbor, Best Insertion, and Regret-k constructive heuristics in a multi-start greedy randomized framework, including a novel randomization strategy for Regret-k that distinguishes the customer selection (who) from the insertion position (where). The heuristics are implemented in C++ bound to Python and evaluated on the Solomon and Gehring & Homberger benchmarks following DIMACS 2021 conventions. The extended abstract is available on HAL (PDF).
